Windows 10: Mouse Cursor Appearing on top of Fullscreen Gameplay?

Hello everyone. I have a problem that has been troubling me for years now, and as it has seemed to increase in occurrence I have decided to search for help.

Every once in a while when using my PC I often get the Windows "USB Disconnect" sound, at times even playing the reconnect sound a second or two afterwards. While doing anything else on my PC it is nothing more than an inconvenience to have jingling in my ear. The real problem comes to playing games.

While this happens while playing the mouse cursor appears in-game, either following or loosely-following the in-game cursor, and if there is no in-game cursor the mouse will often travel freely across the screen following every movement my mouse makes. Restarting the game has been the only temporary solution I have found so far, but it gets annoying having to restart my game every 30-50 minutes.

The things I have tried to fix this are as follows:

-Try different USB ports for mouse
-Try different mouse in general
-Uninstall/reinstall/update mouse drivers
-Disabled any in-game overlay (Steam, Discord, etc./ Was told this might be it)
-Closed all non-needed applications (Running only the game and Steam)
-Changed power-saving settings to keep things powered on

I am very confused as to what is causing this. If anyone has any insight on the issue or advice it would be very much appreciated.

No mouse cursor

Hi,

It is possible that the system did not recognize the mouse of your computer after it booted up. This can be the reason why you do not see the mouse cursor. Kindly perform a power cycle to refresh the power of the computer. To do this, follow these steps:

• Shutdown the computer.
• After shutting it down, remove the battery (if you're using a laptop) and disconnect the computer from the charger.
  
• Wait for 1 minute.
• After 1 minute, attach the battery and turn on the computer.
• Check if you will see the mouse cursor.

NO Mouse Cursor In Most Fullscreen games

Greetigs, I have a problem.

My mouse cursor (or pointer) is invisible in most fullscreen games like : Paladins, Legue Of Legends, Smite. I found a way to fix it in paladins and smite, but the other games dont work. Pointer Trail is off, drivers are up to date. It is probably a technical
issue not hardware or software issue. If Someone can help me, please respond.
