Windows 10: Mouse clicks in Windows 11 are not working sometimes

On Windows 11 I experience sometimes that even if the mouse is correctly working, Windows is not getting the click of the buttons.This issue happens on my laptop, and when it happens the very same behaviour is happening for both the mousepad than for the external mouse concurrently.I usually can restore the click to work by using only the keyboard with CTRL + ALT + CANC and then killing explorer.exe in task manager and then manually restarting it again.I already tried emptying the following folder and rebooting but it doesn't help:%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations This

Mouse clicking randomly every few minutes

In Windows 10/11, my mouse randomly clicks on its own.

Very often the mouse left click will not work until I middle click. Then the mouse works as usual.

This happens with multiple games.

The games are on Steam.

This happens outside of games too.

Steps I've tried to resolve the issue:

• I have purchased a new mouse, and it has the same issue. So all mice I buy have the same problem.
  
• I have tried wired and wireless mice.
  
• I've update from Windows 10 to Windows 11. This should mean I have every update.

unfortunately there isn't a lot to a usb mouse. what i would suggest is checking the power management settings on it.

Right-click the start menu and choose device manager
Expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers at the very bottom
Double-click on each HUB you have listed, click Power Management Tab at the top, and UNCHECK "Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power"
You may have HUBs called Generic and Root Hub. Perform the step above on All of them.

If you continue to have the issue, i would imagine your mouse is malfunctioning. Perhaps try another mouse just to be sure. This will help you determine if it is in fact the mouse of computer causing the issue.
