Windows 10: missing wireless driver.

Recently i ran BootCamp on a mac computer to download windows ten. I did the setup and restarted to realise I was not connected to the internet. After a couple of hours i found device manager. I checked my drivers and to my horror there was no wireless driver. I have looked at the hidden tab and nothing. I know a question similar to this has been asked but i was wondering whether my specific scenario might be correlated to a different problem.

Wireless mouse "driver is unavailable" issues

The error Driver is unavailable means that there is no available driver installed for your mouse that’s why it is not working. We suggest that you check the mouse driver from the device manager. Follow the steps below:

• Open Device Manager.
• Look for Mice and other pointing devices and click it to expand.
• Check if there is a driver for the wireless mouse.

If there is none, we suggest that you visit the manufacturer’s website of the mouse and download then install the latest mouse driver compatible to Windows 10.

Missing Wireless Drivers - Windows 10

• Did you upgrade your operating system to Windows 10 or it was in build?
• When you say "The wireless network driver is missing" where exactly you see the message?

Meanwhile, I suggest you to install the driver from the link below and run in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Follow the steps below to install the drivers in compatibility with Windows 10.

1.Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.

2.Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘Properties’.

3.Click on the ‘Compatibility’ tab and check the box
‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 10 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

Problem with Dell Wireless 5630's driver

Step 1.

I suggest you to update the wireless driver manually and check if it helps.

  Press Windows key + X and click on

  Locate for Network adaptor and expand it.

  Right click on the wireless device driver

If the issue still persist try the below step.

Step 2.

I would recommend you to go to the dell wireless manufacturer website and download the latest updated wireless driver and install the same. Check if it helps.
