    Missing d3d12.dll files


    Hi, I am currently running Windows 8.1 on my laptop and I am trying to use Davinci Resolve 19 but when I try to access it, it says I don't have the d3d12.dll file. I was looking online when I found a related Microsoft question asking the same thing and it said I would have to upgrade to at least Windows 10. I tried looking for alternative solutions in hopes that I could solve my problem as my laptop doesn't have a part to upgrade to Windows 10. That's when I found a site that allows you to download the files, but me being the cautious person I am decided to ask around some trusted sources befo

    Missing d3d12.dll for TASK MANAGER.

    Open an Admin Command Prompt window and type:

    • sfc /scanfile=c:\windows\system32\D3D12.dll
    Also, type:

    • ver
    Press Enter,

    I am running on windows 7, 64 bit laptop, getting missing d3d12.dll error. I tried downloading a driver, no luck, still error msg with Cheif Architect x13. please help|
