Windows 10: Minecraft Windows 10 Version Won’t Install In New Launcher

Anyone experiencing this issue?I’m currently trying unsuccessfully to reinstall Minecraft windows 10 bedrock. I uninstalled the game yesterday after I couldn’t get it to update to 1.19. Didn’t update automatically upon opening, and the Microsoft store didn’t detect an update for it. Now, when I go to reinstall it using the new combined launcher, it turns the “install” button into a greyed-out “play” button, but nothing else happens.I have tried restarting my PC, uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher, and I even uninstalled and reinstalled my Java edition in case that was messing with

• When you say that "have tried to get it to that but it won`t let me can", from where exactly have you tried to update Minecraft app? Have you tried to update through Windows Store?

Minecraft Native launcher

Thank you Catherine, but i play just updated team fortress 2 from Steam and it updated perfectly. I tried your setting steps but unfortunately i can't modify Minecraft for a reason and if i try to right click nothing happens. When i clicked on Modern Combat
5 it showed me the link to advanced options but not for minecraft.

My father purchased Minecraft for me from Minecraft. net. I have tried a million times but it is hard to acces minecraft forums in China.

However when i opened the Minecraft native log it said my windows version was 8 ,however my windows is 10.

Here is what it says:

Thx for cooperating. I even tried "check for updates in the store" but that wasn't any help.

 

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
