windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Dear Sir/Madam,

I bought an old HP Elitebook with intel core i5 v Pro. All the info and operating system was deleted by the previous owner.

The start up black screen says ' Boot Device not found. Please install an operating system on your hard disk. Hard Disk - (3F0).

On theF2 Diagnostics page:

It says Version 2.3.2.0 Bios

and a list with the words Processor, Memory test, Storage Tests, Power tests, System board test, keyboard test, Language and Exit.

Now, I need to install an operating system. How to install a new operating system on HP ELITEBOOK INTEL CORE I5 vPRO?

Where do I buy an operating system?

Can I install Microsoft 11 or do I have to install 10 first?

plenty of system resources yet super slow performance

Hi there! I have a 6 years old Dell Optiplex desktop computer. It is SUPER slow! When I right-click on anything, it takes 5-6 seconds to open. When I click on a folder, any folder, it takes 6-7 seconds to respond. When I check the Task Manager usages are as below:

• CPU : 10%
• Memory: 57%
• Disk: 50%
• Network; 0%

Here some details about the system:

• Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4590S CPU @ 3.00GHz 3.00 GHz
• 8 GB
• Windows 10 Version 20H2
• Not a SSD

No viruses or malware detected. I am assuming it's either the HDD or RAM are the culprit. Any ideas? Thanks for any feedback!
