    Microsoft word border setting broken


    I’ll start off by saying I am not a tech guru whatsoever so I’m sorry if I’m in the wrong place but I’m running into an issue using Word.

    I’ve created a table to use as a calendar for my 2021 planner and I can’t get the thicker border I’ve selected on 3 bottom lines of cells. I’ve highlighted them with the tool and nothing happens, any suggestions?

    I have a lot of ms word files on my pc. But one of them showed me an error - Getting unknown error messages while opening (.doc) or (.docx) files. I don't know how to open my word file or repair microsoft word. Any suggestions, guys, please.

    Is it just one file, or all your word files?

    With the exception of Outlook, I have yet to find a reason to stop using Office 2000, 2003, and 2007. They open all the latest files just fine, and they work just fine.

    I understand that you want to disable word suggestions when you type any word. I’ll certainly help you with the steps.



    To disable text suggestions, I would suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below:



    1. Press Windows Logo key + I, to open
      Settings.
    2. Click on Devices, and click on
      Typing       on the left pane.
    3. Now, under Typing toggle the switch to off for
      Show text suggestions as I type on the software keyboard.
    4. Under Hardware keyboard, toggle the switch to on for
      Show text suggestions as I type.
