Windows 10: Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 800 not working while being connected to laptop device.

I have Wireless Keyboard and Mouse. The models are Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 800 and Microsoft Wireless Mouse 1000. Both are connected to my laptop using a single transceiver. Recently my Mouse stopped working. So from than I am not able to use my keyboard as well. I tried updating the drivers and restarting laptop but it didn't worked out. Can anyone I guide me on this. Microsoft Wireless 800 Desktop: Will Not Wake PC?


My new Dell Inspiron 5000 Series is used with a Microsoft Wireless 800 Desktop. This comprises a Wireless Keyboard 800 and Wireless Mouse 1000. I have installed Microsoft Mouse & Keyboard Center(MouseKeyboardCenter_64bit_ENG_2.7.133).

I can't find any Power Options tabs in which to enable one of these devices to wake the computer from sleep. The PC normally sits (almost) closed in a drawer, so it's a bit awkward to use the power button. I use an external monitor.

Looks like this is a driver problem. Have you performed any updates recently? Since your other keyboard worked with the computer, then we can isolate this issue by updating the driver of the Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 800.
