Windows 10: Microsoft Visual C+ 2012 Redistributable X86 11.0.61030

All of a sudden while downloading a game on my pc the above popped up and asked me to download which I did...but why it automatically popped up I don't know....then again it did it...why is this happening?

I purchased my laptop with Win. 7. I upgraded to Win. 8 to 8.1 and Win 10 Pro. It had problems. So much so that the recommendation I received was to do a reset. I did.

Win. 10 is working a great deal better. The reset placed a "Apps removed while refreshing your pc" file on my desktop. In it is the following. Do I need to re-load all of these on my pc?

Help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Microsoft visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 doesn't install

Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable Package (x86) install fails

The software is buggy. If later versions of MS Visual C++ runtimes are installed it fails to detect them and tries to install earlier versions which breaks those MS Visual C++ runtime installations.








Allowing the install to continue doesn't allow those runtimes to install (because you can't install an earlier version over a later version) and it breaks the already installed versions. (They now show as 0 bytes)





It does actually install this:





I cannot test to see if the program will run (I suspect that it won't work anyway) as I don't have MS Office.

Suggest:

Remove those two VC++ Runtime versions if they already exist and reboot. Then try running the Dymo installer and see if it will install the earlier versions of VC++
