    Microsoft Surface Pro 7 - SD Card Drops Out - No Connection


    I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 7 that I use a Micro-SD Card for additional storage. I use the SD Card as an extra drive.The problem is that the SD Card will simply disconnect and disappear. The only way to restore the connection is to either physically eject the card and re-insert it, or to re-start the computer.I have verified the card contacts are clean, and tried this with 5 other cards of various sizes. All cards exhibit the same behavior. I do not think it is a connection issue, since it can also be restored by re-starting the computer.There does not seem to be anything in the power

    Cannot copy music files to SD card

    Dragging and dropping does not work

    I put the SD card into the Surface Pro and they copied ok. (they did not when I took out the card and reinserted into the phone)

    can you provide me a screenshot of your file transfer.

    how slow is your SD card behaving?

    how big of a file you're trying to transfer?

    have you tried your SD card on other device for comparison?

    also does your SD card fully formatted before you put it on your Surface Pro 7?
