Windows 10: Microsoft Store wont let me change download location

Whenever I try to change the download location, the file explorer opens and lets me select a folder. However, when I click "Select Folder," it doesn’t make any changes. Additionally, when I try to download something, it still downloads to the previous default folder.

To further assist you, we suggest that you reset Windows Store and try downloading
Microsoft Mahjong again.



Here are the steps on how to reset Windows Store:

• 
  Press the Windows key+
  R key, to launch the Run dialog box.
  
• 
  Type in Wsreset.exe and
  press Enter.
  
• 
  Reboot your computer after the process is finished.

Microsoft Store starting download

In step 4 when you said "4 Find Microsoft Store: Scroll through the list and locate the Microsoft Store application.", I wasn't able to find Microsoft store in the list of apps and features in settings. Do you think that would have anything to do with the problem?

• Do you face this issue only with these apps?
• Did you try downloading other apps?
• Did you try stopping these apps and then downloading it again?

We would suggest you to try the steps mentioned in the link

• Type troubleshooting in the search
  box and hit Enter.
• Click View all from the left pane and select Windows store apps.
• Follow the on-screen instructions and check.

If the steps don't work try these steps:

Try to reset the Windows store and check.

• Press Win + R on the keyboard to open run Window.
• Type wsreset.exe to reset the Windows store cache.
