Windows 10: Microsoft store download error 0x80073CF6 something happened in our end

hi,I cannot get a Microsoft store to download. It gives me the download error 0x80073CF6 and error message, something happened in our end. I am guessing it is a server side issue at Microsoft.

when I try and update apps in the store they seem to download fine, then when installing them I get an error 0x80073CF6. Most of the apps that need to be updated are Microsoft apps, so uninstalling them and reinstalling them is not an option.

The app is greyed out in the list so uninstalling the app does not work...

The error code: 0x80073CF6 that you are seeing after performing the steps provided by
Joe Men may be caused by some issues with the Windows Store cache. Let us go ahead and reset it by following the steps below:

• Click on the Start button.
• In the Search box, type WSReset.exe.
• Once the program comes up, right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
• The Windows Store will open and you should get a confirmation message saying
  “The cache has for the Store was cleared. You can now browse the Store for apps.”

Microsoft Store won't update old apps or download new ones. "Something happened on our end" Error Code: 0x80073CF6

The Microsoft Store won't update any of the existing apps I have installed that need updates and this has been like this for a while now but I've simply ignored it as it wasn't detrimental to anything I was doing at the time. I just went to download the Dolby Access App for my new headphones and I can't even download new apps. I'm tired of this issue and it's now time to find a fix. I tried looking it up but I was unable to find a thread that helped me solve my issue. I tried signing out of the Microsoft Store, restarting my pc, then signing back into the Microsoft Store. I tried Windows Key+R then wsreset.exe. Neither have worked for me. I tried freeing up more space on my drive just in case that would help. No luck. Please help.
