Windows 10: Microsoft Store Couldn't Update 0x80072EE2

Hi, I've been having trouble with my new Windows 11 laptop to connect to the Microsoft store and complete an update for it. It keeps giving me the error code 0x80072EE2 and this issue happens to also be affecting other apps ability to connect to their respective things in order to update it. Another example of an app failing to connect to something in order to update is Epic Games Store. It seems to me that it might be something affecting the laptops ability to interact with outside servers to receive updates and not a Microsoft store specific problem. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can

• Is the network connection fine?

I suggest you to reset Windows store cache memory and check.

Follow the steps below to clear Windows Store cache memory:

• On the desktop screen, press Windows key and R to open run box.
  
• Type WSReset.exe and hit Enter.
  

Please run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter and then try to run the updates again.

• Click Start and type troubleshooting in the search box.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Run Windows Store Apps troubleshooter.

Do reply with the status.

 

Lumia 650, we couldn´t connect to the update service

Hi,

Have a lumia 650 with Version 1511, OS build 10.0.10586.494 is this the latest version?

When i check for updates i get this: we couldn´t connect to the update service, we`ll try again later..

I have internet connection via WiFi and a microsoft account set up.
