  1. Microsoft Store application need it to run on non-windows store allowed computers

good morning, i have located an app in the microsoft store called resistor calculator that can be used in our environment however it works well on machines we have for personnel, but not for the production computers which has no access to the microsoft store. is there a way to get the app to install, or get the executable to be able to run in those production computers? i tried looking for the folder that the app resides however it's protected and cannot get access to it unless you elevate privileges which is not good, and was looking for a better way to do this. please advise.

    :)

  2. Windows Store, Microsoft Edge

    Hi,

This error code might appear when the system failed to connect to Windows Store. It might be caused by a third-party software or program that prevents accessing default applications. For better assistance, we would like to ask the following:

    • Have you made any recent changes on your computer prior to the issue?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Meanwhile, we suggest that you run the troubleshooter for Windows Store and Microsoft Edge. For your reference, check this
article on how to run the troubleshooter for Microsoft Edge. Follow these steps on how to perform
    the troubleshooter for Windows Store:

    • On Cortana search, type troubleshooting.
    • Select Troubleshooting from the list.
    • Click on Hardware and Sound.
    • Under Windows, select Windows Store Apps.
    • Click on Next, then follow the instructions.

We're looking forward to your reply.

  3. Microsoft Store free apps

    Hello,

Corrupted system files can cause issues when downloading applications from the Microsoft Store. However, for us to provide you the most appropriate assistance, can you provide us the exact error message that you're getting?

As an initial troubleshooting step, we suggest that you reset the Microsoft Store cache and try to download applications again. Check out the steps below:

    • Press Windows + R keys to open the run command box.

    • Type WSReset, then try launching Microsoft Store and sign in.

    • Once done, try to download applications.

We'll wait for any updates to assist you further.

Microsoft Store application need it to run on non-windows store allowed computers

Restore Microsoft Store application in Windows 10

After multiple attempts, I managed to get Store open by enabling Developer mode (as suggested by one of the posters here) and running the command "Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}" in Powershell. Not sure if is exactly the solution since I've tried different steps suggested by different users in different forums (including uninstalling Store separately) but hey, I am not complaining!
