Windows 10: Microsoft SQL Server 2022 Reporting Services not running on Windows 11 and Windows 10

I installed Latest SQL reporting services.exe from Microsoft webstite and when i try to run the exe of reporting sercies of sql22 . I am getting the following error and exe is not running to configure reporting service for SQL22 . Can someone know this how to fix ?Steps i followed to fix the issue . Repair the Framework .2. run sfc and dism command to fix the issue .3. clean temp files , udpated windows to latest .4. my system has . I couldn't install SQL Server 2022 in my Windows 11.

I couldn't install SQL Server 2022 on my Windows 11. I tried the workaround mentioned on the Microsoft website but still it didn't work. I later found out this issue is common in Win 11. I need help installing SQL Server 2022 on my laptop.

The error I'm getting: Couldn't find the database engine startup handle.

I request you to help me in fixing this issue as SQL server is needed for my college assignments.

 

SQL Reporting Services 2005

Hi,

I've got a client that is still using SQL Server 2005 and have SQL Reporting Services 2005 installed. When I'm trying to Setup Database with that it gives me an error and doesn't set up the database correctly. I found from windows event viewer the following
error: "The report server database is an invalid version". On further investigation, I found that SQL Server 2005 is running Service Pack 1 while SQL Reporting Services is running without a service pack. So in order to get rid of this version conflict error,
I need to install SQL Reporting Services service pack 2 on the server. But the problem is I am not able to find the download option for this. As the version of the product is very old so most of the pages are removed from the Microsoft's site as well. Can
someone help me with this? Please help.
