    Microsoft Photos: File system error -2147219196


    I have used MS Photos quite successfully on my Windows 10 desktop PC until recently. Now, when I launch the Photos app, it closes after a few seconds with no error message. When I double-click a photo file in Explorer, Photos opens briefly, then closes and I see this:I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling without success.Any suggestions?Thanks- richard

    Microsoft Photos File System Error -2147219196

    After installing the Windows 10 Update 1909 update, my Photos app automatically shuts down with the file system error -2147219196 whenever I try to open an image file. Similar threads
    suggested resetting or repairing the Photos app or re-installing the app entirely but none worked for me. I will be glad to get any help.
