    Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 Codec Not Showing Up On Computer


    So I've been trying to install Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 on my computer...and I haven't had any error messages or whatnot. Oh no, it installs just fine. However, when I go to find the software to open it, it's nowhere to be found. I have installed this program 6 times. And still the same results. I've tried restarting my computer, nope. I've tried removing the software then reinstalling it. Absolutely nothing. I'm starting to get...ticked off. Does anyone have any ideas as to where my software could have possibly gone?


    Also yes: I have checked my downloads and program files. Still nothing.

    Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 SDK license

    Hello,

    I understand that Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 SP2 has been made free. Is there a particular license on the use of the Expression Encoder SDK? I am interested in incorporating the SDK into a project in order to capture a screen recording by utilizing
    the ScreenCaptureJob class.

    Has the library been replaced with with a different SDK that can accomplish the same task?
