    Microsoft Designer Mouse Stopped Working - No Bluetooth Light


    Kia Ora,My Microsoft Designer Mouse stopped working. No flashing Bluetooth light on mouse after pressing pair button for 5 - 7 s and not registering on laptop. I have tried a different Bluetooth Mouse and it paired without problem. I removed the Designer Mouse from the laptop to see if it would pair but not happening.Any thoughts?CheersJohn

    Bluetooth Designer Mouse Troubleshooting

    I'm running WIndows 10 on a Lenovo E560 and my Microsoft Bluetooth Designer Mouse has stopped working. Some weird symptoms:

    • In pairing mode, the device will appear in the Bluetooth Connection Manager, pair and connect. The mouse correctly finishes pairing mode when paired.
    • However, although it appears as connected, it doesn't work.
    • If the mouse is turned off, it still shows as connected in the Bluetooth Connection Manager.
    • If the bluetooth in the PC is turned off, then on again, it appears as "Paired".
    • If the mouse is then turned back on, it doesn't connect again.
    • Other Bluetooth devices pair and connect correctly.
    Any suggestions? Or is the mouse knackered?

    Microsoft Designer Bluetooth Mouse stopped working

    Hi Team,

    My Microsoft Designer Bluetooth mouse stopped working today. I was able to use it without issue this morning, then out of the blue it stopped working.

    I am running Windows 10 Pro - I did not update any settings prior to the mouse ceasing to work.

    I have tried to restart my computer, "forget" the device from the computer and reconnect, and take batteries out of mouse - nothing has worked.

    Per this post: Redirecting I tried running the troubleshooting tool on "Hardware and Devices" and "Bluetooth"
    - neither resolved the issue.

    Microsoft Designer Bluetooth Mouse stopped working

    I just ran the latest big W10 update and my MS Designer Mouse and Bluetooth keyboard (also MS) are no longer working. I held the button on the bottom of the mouse for 5 seconds and waited for the blinking light, and then tried to add it as a Bluetooth
    device. I can select the mouse as a device, but it won't connect (I just keep getting the message "try connecting your device again").
