Windows 10: Microsoft asking for password instead of pin, won't let me log in Windows 10

My desktop PC has always taken a pin to log in, but it suddenly started asking for a password. I have reset the password multiple times, both from the log in screen on the desktop and from different devices, but it always says the password is wrong. There are no other log in options available on screen, only the password. I have tried booting into safe mode multiple but it never gives me the option to delete the password or switch to a pin. Safe mode doesn't give me any options at all, it only leads me to the same log in page.My PC runs Windows 10. It crashed before I started having this probl

As you may already know, Windows 10 (as well as Windows 8) allow you to log in with a valid Microsoft account, instead of creating a local account that only works on your machine. However, you may prefer to keep a local account for privacy reasons. If you do, though, some Windows 10 features—like Cortana—may not work. Despite the default behavior, the Windows 10 Store is not one of them. You can still log in to your Microsoft account for just the Store without switching to a full Microsoft account. The process, however, is not terribly obvious. To do so, follow these steps:

• Launch the Store from your Start menu.
• Click the user icon next to the search box.
• Click “Sign-in” from the menu that appears.
• Choose “Microsoft account” and log in like normal.
• When the “Make it yours” box appears do not enter your password. Instead, click “Sign in to just this app instead.”

I logged into Windows 10 with pin . Now it is asking for password ,which I forget

I cannot reset gives error. Anyway to get pin screen back
