Windows 10: Microphone Level in Speaker Properties Not Showing Up

Above is a picture I copied from online of what I am trying to have in my speaker properties. Currently, all that shows for me is Realtek Audio Output.


I have tried uninstalling the audio drivers and redownloading them multiple times. I need this for mic playback which is important to me so it would be greatly appreciated if someone has a fix for this!

Headphones' Microphone Volume Under the "Levels" Tab Disappeared

We suggest that you check the following steps on how to raise the mic volume:

• Check the Speaker icon on the system tray. Right click on it and choose "Recording Devices" menu.
  
• This will show Sound window. Go to Recording tab of Sound window, you will notice the microphone which is active that has a green check mark. Right click on the active microphone and select "Properties".
  
• You will now see Microphone Properties window. Go to the
  Levels tab and you will now see Microphone and
  Microphone Boost. You can use the sliders to modify your volume settings. Click
  OK button to save changes.

i can't find "microphone" under the levels tab in speaker > properties > levels

yes, in recording, i have the levels turned up. The problem i am having is that in "playback", when i click on the properties for the playback device, then go to levels, "microphone" does not show up, and i can't get the microphone to play through the
playback device so i can hear myself talk.

 

How to raise microphone volume?

I suggest you check your microphone gain level. To do it, try the steps mentioned below:

Right click on Speaker icon (Volume settings) on the Taskbar

Choose Recording Devices

Click on Microphone and open the Properties

Finally, move the slider to choose the level. It will raise the Microphone and Microphone Boost option.
