  1. Microphone audio is only recording in the left channel!?

So I was told recently that the audio coming from my headset is only playing in their left channel. I verified the issue with the 'listen to device' feature in the device's properties. I recently switched from usb headset to 3.5mm. The 3.5mm jack is going through a splitter for my desktop. I do not have a 4-channel headset jack like on a phone. Just a normal 2-channel headphone jack, hence the splitter. There is no "1-channel x Hz y Bits" option available let alone grayed out.All of my drivers are up-to-date.The realtek audio console is updated and this isn't a problem with USB audio device

    :)

  2. Microphone Recording Only On Left Channel

Hello, I had recently gotten a M-Audio 192 | 4 and an AT2035 but everything I record is on the left channel. I tried to change the channels from the interfaces properties but I could not find a 1 channel option in order to make everything mono. I then tried
enabling stereo mix but it did not show up even though I set the settings to show disabled devices. Does anyone know a way to fix this so that windows forces mono recordings on everything without making outputs mono too?

Thanks in advanced for the help!
