Windows 10: Memu Android Emulator causes crash to bluescreen

Hello there! So I recently installed BlueStacks to play some Games on my PC only available for phone. But after starting it up for the first time my PC instantly crashed to bluescreen and restartet. Error code: "Clock Watchdog Timeout". I first thought it was because of BlueStacks so I installed Memu. Same problem and now I'm&n

Android Emulator Causes Windows Crash and goes to BSOD

Hi,

There is an issue with Android Emulator with Visual Studio 2019 as well as Android Studio, that whenever trying to open the emulator the windows crashes and enters BSOD (Status : “clock watchdog timeout”).

This issue has started after a patch update for windows (KB4554354 (OS Build 17763.1132)).

Troubleshooting done so far,

1. We have tried reinstalling the VS 2019 along with Xamarin and freshly created new emulator (x86 processor, API 27/28 etc…)
2. Tried to install android studio and running the newly created emulator.
3. Repair the visual studio 2019.

Nothing works and we are out of help from any source.

We are sure that the patch update was the issue causing the problem.

Bluescreen on windows 10 after using android emulator

today after i got an update of avast i could not launch any android emulator anymore (Bluestacks 3 and NOX). When i try to launch an emulator after like 80-90% of the engine loading of the emulator nothing
happens then i get a messagge of the emulator that the engine could not launche and it gives me 2 options (restart engine or restart computer) both will get my sistem to crash and i get a blue screen with errorcode 0x00000667 (not sure if i miss a 0). I already
tried to disable the antivirus and to retry but got the same problem, i reinstall the android emulator but got the same result. And worst of my problems are that my computer didn't had the file protection active to restore to an prewvie point, so im stuck
now and i prefer not to reset my whole computer. Any suggestion what could i do? im really in trouble here and i hope this is the right place to ask for my problem.

 

KB3199209 crash with all OS emulators !!

Hello,

since i've made this update all OS emulators I tried crash the PC!! I always use VMware and memu (android emulator) and since this Update I can't !! I tried other OS emulator but ALL crash my PC. I get Blue secreen with.

Please tell me how I can solve this problem because I really need these emulators.
