Windows 10: MBR2GPT Error - Frustrated

Discus and support MBR2GPT Error - Frustrated in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I didn't want to necro any threads so am creating my own.     MBR2GPT Error - Frustrated


    I didn't want to necro any threads so am creating my own. I want to upgrade to Windows 11, but I need to get prepared for it by converting my MBR system drive over to GPT so I can enable UEFI and Secure Boot in the BIOS, however I am receiving an error: So I started searching for solutions and I should have all the boxes checked, but it is still not working: Less than 4 Partitions: check Boot/System Partitions on same drive: check Windows Version: 21H1 Build: 19043.1083: check Everything on my end and in disk management looks correct, but I am still receiving the error. So I tried the other drives and receive the same error except for disk:0 and disk:2

    Thank you both for your suggestions. Unfortunately, before I could start, my pc quit booting, showing a NTFS file system error.

    Any idea why disk manager shows 3 partitions and mbr2gpt shows 4?

    Thanks again, will repost when/if I am ever successful.

    MBR2GPT Error - Frustrated

    MBR2GPT

    I have the latest version of Windows 10 16299.192 and I'm trying to use the MBR2GPT utility to change my system disk from MBR to GPT. The utility gives an error even though DiskPart Uniqueid shows an MBR ID. Does anyone have an idea of what might be wrong
    here? Thanks.
