    Mapped drives no longer available after upgrade from 23H2 to 24H2


    I manage a office network of computers with about 10 systems. This network of computers is connected via a ‘peer-to-peer’ configuration, without using a DOMAIN or Windows Server.I had upgraded one of the computers on the network from Windows 11 Pro 23H2 to Windows 11 Pro 24H2 latest version that was just released by Microsoft. After doing so, this computer was not able to connect to other previously mapped computers on the network. However, the system was still capable of printing to network printers.This upgraded computer has 2 users/profiles. One is an Administrator and the other is a s

    Connecting NAS - mapping of drives

    Ok, If you want, we can do a step by step troubleshooting of your current situation: If you are able to ping your Machine and it responds. Code:
    Try to view if your NAS appears on the Network List: Code:
    If Your NAS appears on the list, try to view it: Code:
    The available shares will be listed there. Then Try to List the content of one of the directories: Code:
    This should list the content of the directory, If all this works Try to map a drive on one share: Code:
    Pls reply with the "response" of the first "encounter" of a non positive output. This exercise should reveal if you have a Network or Protocol or Cipher or Authentication problem.

    Removed mapped drive no longer showing in drive list for a new mapped drive.

    I had a mapped network drive that was showing as disconnected and I tried the CMD (Admin) command mountvol /r which removed the mapped drive but now the drive that was causing the trouble no longer shows up in the list if drives I can mount. How do I get
    this drive back?

    Windows 11 Drive Mapping Issue

    Has anyone encountered issues with Windows 11 drive mapping not staying mapped after logging off or rebooting? We are starting to push out a couple Windows 11 machines and noticed that drive mappings are no longer staying mapped.

    I updated all the Windows 11 to version 23H2 and tried EnabledLinkConnections registry fix to no avail.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.
