Windows 10: Manual proxy periodically turn on and my internet will be stopped

I am using windows 10, and just 2 days ago, I start to experience the problem of Internet interruptions. The wifi icon appears normal on my screen, but I couldn't access the internet from the browser. A little investigation revealed that some background process will my manual proxy automatically to 127.0.0.1:1080. If I disable it, the internet works again, but after a few minutes, it will be turned on again and the internet will stop. I tried a few different methods including:


Use regedit to search 127.0.0.1 and delete all the entries with that info, but somehow it still come back.

Try this

Open Registry

Win+R Type regedit then

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\
CurrentVersion\Internet Settings.

Double click ProxySettingsPerUser then Change Value to 1.


But I don't have this key under Internet Settings, and manually creating one and set it to 1 doesn't help.

Anyone knows how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

The proxy setup turns on Automatically even after setting it up manually

my manually proxy setup is turning on automatically even i turned it off so many times...nearly i turned it off for 100 times still it turns on automatically bcz of that im not able to browse internet so it keeps on saying your connection is not private.when
i tried to turn off manually proxy setup it keep off for a small period and at that time there is not problem in browsing internet and later proxy automatically turns on..any solutions please....

If you're unable to get online because of proxy servers, there is a possibility that
Manual proxy setup is turned on. To turn this off, follow the steps below:

• Click the Windows key.
• Go to Settings.
• Select Network and Internet.
• On the left pane, click Proxy.
• Under Manual proxy setup, toggle off Use a proxy server.

Once done, try to check if you can now go online.
