    Malware in the system

    Hello everyone,

so, my laptop hp elitebook 840 g2 got inffected. How? I don’t know. I could be because of the sites I’ve used to learn programming from. The current state isthat I am not allowed to change many of my security settings, I have the “Virus and Threat protection is being managed by your ogganization”, I can not acces my Windows Defender what-so-ever, some of the settings that I’ve tried from the internet I can not preform them because are blocked, for example, if I go Services/Security Center and try to restart some features it won’t allow me to.

I did not tried to delete the “DisableAntispy” file i didnt seem like a good idea, I was not so sure it won’t create more damage and run antivirus programs on safe mood. Anothr error it give me, when i try to Install Malwarebytes it wont let me.
Can anyone help me destroy this files without me having to reinstall my Win? Thank you.

    :)

    Malware in the system

Did our Epson printer get hacked?

Another question, is this on a home network or a work network? The steps @eidairaman1 listed are always a good first step. If this is on a work network you manage, I'd be much more concerned than the home one. It is possible someone is screwing with you, but malware could also be the culprit.
