    MACHINE CHECK EXCEPTION Freeze and BSOD


    I am experiencing system freeze ups that result in the BSOD with the age old "Your computer has ran into a problem. Gathering information and We'll restart it for you 0% gathered. - For more information research Machine_Check_Exception"


    I have let the computer hang on that screen for over 2 hours waiting for the system to restart.

    The Information gathering percentage has never moved beyond 0%, The Computer has never restarted. I just get the : MESSAGE sad face staring at me until I do ahard shutdown using the power button.


    This is now happening EVERY TIME I turn on the computer. I have to restart the at least 3 times before I get any type of control, and even then it takes a while till I can get to a log in screen. My pc keeps telling my that it needs an update and every time I try to install it results in the Machine Check Exception which then take time to get the pc working again I think most times I just have to uninstall the updates but I don't really know. Please help:
