  1. Logitech software is somehow resetting my "System Sounds" Audio level

This has happened over the years probably 4 or 5 times with random Logitech software updates for G-Hub. It has been a while since it last happened prior to this time so I thought they had fixed whatever issue is causing it but it is super annoying. Basically I update and then any time it swaps to a new program it picks up a different profile for that program which causes the notification for my DPI sensitivity to display on the bottom right and it makes the windows alert noise even though I have it set to 800 for all programs. I do not know how it can cause this but it is tied to the Logitech

    :)

  2. sound level on the sound system

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

You can customize the sound level for individual applications through the Volume Mixer. Here's how you can access it:

    1. Right-click on the Volume icon in the taskbar (usually located in the bottom right corner) and select "Open Volume Mixer."
    2. A Volume Mixer window will open, displaying a list of all the applications that are currently producing sound.
    3. Find the application for which you want to customize the sound level and adjust the corresponding slider to increase or decrease the volume for that specific application.
    4. You can also click on the speaker icon below the slider to mute or unmute the sound for that application.
    5. Repeat these steps for any other applications you want to customize the sound level for.
By adjusting the volume levels for individual applications in the Volume Mixer, you can have more control over the sound output on your laptop.

Thanks for the Heads Up on Setpoint....

might I suggest a new pinned thread for the Options Software too ( updated Aug 20th) since all Newer Logitech Products use it.
Eg Mx2, M510 and most other products with a Unifying receiver including Keyboards etc

Logitech software is somehow resetting my "System Sounds" Audio level

No audio in 'Asphalt 7: Heat'

    Hi Moezul,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Does the audio work in other applications?

If you are not able to hear the audio in any applications. I would suggest to check with the steps below and see if it resolves your issue.

    Steps:

    1. Check if the audio driver is updated. Follow the steps mentioned in the article to update audio drivers.

      Update drivers in Windows 10

    2. The issue can occur if the appropriate playback device is not selected. Click the
Sound icon (bottom right corner of the screen), click Playback device and select the appropriate device from the menu.
    3. Check the In-game audio settings to confirm if the sound is turned
      on.
    4. Check the Volume levels in the system's Volume Mixer to confirm that it is not turned
off and the levels are appropriate. Right click on the Sound icon and select
Open volume mixer. Adjust the settings as per your requirements.

If the audio issue is only with the game, I would suggest to get in touch with the
    game developer
to get a confirmation on this.

    Thanks,
