Windows 10: Login profile picture is not displaying on windows 11

Account profile pictures have been updated successfully via GPO but it does not show up on the login page.It shows fine under settings but not on the login screen

Auto login and pictures at login

Though you have enabled auto login and there is no lock screen, you should still be able to see the user account picture on the Welcome screen and the same picture (set as user account picture) can be set as the login page background.



To set the custom picture as the login screen background, please follow the steps given below.

• Go to Settings->Personalization->Lock screen.
  
• Click on the dropdown list under Background and select
  Picture.
  
• Click on the Browse button under
  Choose your picture.
  
• Browse to the location where the picture is saved and select the desired picture.
  
• Similarly, to set the same image as the user account picture, open the Settings app.
  
• Go to Accounts->Your info->Browse for one.
  
• Browse to the location where the image is saved and select it to set it as the user account picture.

Windows 11 shows my profile pic in settings but not in the start menu or login screen

I have recently set up a new Windows 11 device (Dell OptiPlex) and, as the title suggests, have been having some issues with my profile picture. It shows up in settings and OneDrive, but not on the Start Menu or on the login screen?

Anyone know how to fix this,

Hi Stanislav,

To better understand the query, please answer the following questions:

1. When you go to settings > Accounts, does all the three pictures appear as the screenshot above?

2. Are those pictures previously used account pictures?

I suggest you to try deleting the old account pictures by following the steps below and check again.

1. Press Windows key + R to open the run command.

2. Copy and paste the following command and press enter:

%appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\AccountPictures

3. If the old account pictures are listed, delete it and restart the computer
