Windows 10: Log in wants me to "Search for app in store?"

Hello, This computer was a top of the line gaming computer 2-3 years ago and now its mine. We took my husbands profile off and added mine. Ever since we did this, my computer turns on, a prompt comes up with my profile and a link "sign in." After I click it it says "just a moment" then a pop up comes up that says:Search for app in the store? You need to install an app for this task. Would you like to search for on in the store? [Yes][No]It doesn't matter if I click yes or no nothing happens. If I restart my computer 5 or 6 times I can eventually get it to to bring up the window to put my passw

I would suggest you to try running Windows store app troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Type troubleshooting in the
  Search area on the taskbar.
• Click on View all on the left panel of the Troubleshooting Windows.
• Select Windows store Apps.
• Follow the on screen instruction.

I suggest you to check if Windows search service is running.

• Press Windows + R key and type "services.msc" and press
  enter.
• Locate the Windows Search service and right click on it.
• Click on Properties and check the
  start option has been enabled.
• Check if issue persists.

Since running the troubleshooter for Windows app didn't work, we suggest resetting Windows Store by following the steps below to resolve your issue:

• Type Apps & features on search box/Cortana and click on it.
• Look for Microsoft Store app and click on Advance options.
• Click Reset button and retest.
