Windows 10: Log-In Screen without Email or Phone #

Hello:

I just did a reinstall of Windows 10 from an ISO download- I inadvertently set up a Microsoft account and now to my dismay my log-in page shows my email address.

How can I set up my login page with either my email address or phone number - I would like to replace my email address with a name or initials?

Microsoft tech says that I have to reset my computer, loosing all of my software and data. That i;s unacceptable

1. No, there is no Email ID on the log-in screen.

2 Yes, without success.

Lumia phone not letting me log into Microsoft

About a week ago, my Lumia notified me that my Microsoft account required attention. I attempted to follow the prompts to see what was needed, but it gets hung up on the log in screen. It has my email account filled in for me, and will NOT let me choose
another account. I have typed in every email I have ever used since I was 12, and it will not let me in...it just shoots me right back to the log in screen.

I went online to log in to my account, and it says I'm blocked due to multiple failed attempts, which is understandable. So I try to recover my password, and the recovery page tells me that account doesn't exist...I've tried with my phone number and my
email.

I'm getting fed up. I cannot download any apps or make any changes to my phone without logging into this account. I created another Microsoft account, thinking I could just go into my phone and log into another account to make the changes. Nope. Regardless
of where I go in my phones settings to attempt to change accounts, it will not allow me to do so without first logging into the account that apparently doesn't exist.
