Windows 10: Lock screen background picture option not available

Hi there.I needed a help regarding my windows 11 lock screen. I was using my computer one day and the next day when i go onto the login page, my lock screen wallpaper is just not there. It shows a black screen as a background. My current windows version is 23H2 22631.4037. I tried enabling/disabling each option one by one, followed by restarting the windows explorer yet no luck. Can anyone please guide me on how to enable this option back again? Thanks

Show lock screen background picture on the sign-in screen - option not available

I found the advice on how to get the lock screen image to change and it works perfectly - but there's still a problem on my my main computer.

On two other computers, the Lock Screen Personalization option allows display of the lock screen background picture on the sign-in screen. On my main computer, this option used to be, but is no longer available.

There is a row of options to "Choose apps to show quick status" and directly under that is the "Cortana lock screen settings" without the "Show lock screen background picture on the sign-in screen" option available.

...any ideas?

 

Lock Screen background picture


Has anybody had difficulty adding a picture / wallpaper to the lock screen.
I have just set up windows 10 screen saver and I see you can change the lock screen back ground picture.
I have tried adding either one of the windows wallpapers or one of my own pictures but I can't find any option to save the image. on closing the window & returning to the lock screen the picture does not appear to save and returns to the standard blue background with date and time.
I can't find any option to save the image as a lock screen wallpaper.
Does anybody have any suggestions.

Lock screen background picture can't not be shown after KB4487044！

When I turn on “Show lock screen background picture on the sign-in screen” option,background
picture can not be shown on lock screen and
sign-in screen.

When I turn off “Show lock screen background picture on the sign-in screen” option,problem
solved.but it's only show on lock screen.
