Windows 10: Loading windows 10 pro on a refurbished computer that came with no OS

I bought this computer from refurbish company and didn't come with a windows 10 is there another way to load other than purchaseing one like down load from Microsoft on to a usb on my computer then loading it into my dell computer laptop

Windows 10 Pro Refurbisher Install

Should of came with a printed copy of the key provided by the Refurbisher. If you did not receive that paperwork than you are out of luck. You might give MS a ring and plead your case. @Superfly These COA's (no actual key)come from small "registered" refurbishers.(the small mom and pop shops that sign up for the refurb program.) The big Refurbishers have COA's with the 25 digit key code.

MS calls a computer sold by shops to be counterfeit OS's unless they provide the original disk(when is the last time a computer came with one) or the original factory recovery partition. If you have do no have those, You must purchase a refurbisher license to replace the COA that originally came with the machine. (MS double dipping) That is why many shops that actually play by MS's rules became registered refurbishers, not to be confused with Authorised Refurbishers that sell 1000's of computers a year and they get the COA's with the actual key on them.

 

Downgrade my refurbished PC from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 7 Pro

I recently purchased a refurbished PC with Windows 10 Pro pre-installed (OEM?).

I would like to downgrade to Windows 7 Pro. Is this possible to do using the product license key

that came with the computer?

Hello.

I recently purchased a refurbished laptop, that came with Windows 10 Pro, but would not boot completely into the operating system. Since it would not boot completely, I could not navigate to the restore or fresh start options, to restore the operating system
to working status. I used the media creation tool, to make a Windows 10 installation media, on a USB drive. However, every time I try to install Windows 10 Pro, the installation media installs Windows 10 Home instead. When I try to upgrade Windows 10 Home
to Windows 10 Pro, using the serial key on my COA sticker, it tells me that the serial key did not work.

What I need to know, is how I can get Windows 10 Pro reinstalled on my laptop, using the serial key that came with this refurbished laptop?
