Windows 10: Lightshot not working after windows update

I use lightshot as it's the most convenient tool for taking screen snippets I've ever experienced, but after my new laptop updated last week, lightshot is no longer running from the background. I tried to uninstall and reinstall but did not work.

Merhabalar, windows 11 bilgisayarıma, lightshot isimli bir program indirmiştim. İlk indirdiğimde çalışıyordu fakat sonraki günlerde birden çalışmamaya başladı. Premium virüs programı kurmuştum. Ondan olacağını düşünerek, virüs programını kapattım ve lightshot uygulamasını tekrar indirdim. Fakat lightshot hiçbir şekilde görev çubuğuna gelmiyor ve prnt tuşu ile çalışmıyor. Kısaca uygulamayı açmaya çalıştığımda tepki vermiyor.



Sorunla ilgili; ilk önce windows C: diski üzerinden, lightshot ve skillbrain ile ilgili bütün klasörleri sildim. Daha sonra %appdata% üzerinde dosya kaldı mı kontrol ettim ve sildim. Regedit üzerinden lightshot ve skillbrains dosyalarını aratarak tek tek sildim. Daha sonra lightshot programını tekrar indirdim. Ve hala aynı sorun var, görev çubuğunda lightshot yok ve çalışmıyor.

Hello, I downloaded a program called lightshot to my windows 11 computer. It was working when I first downloaded it, but in the following days it suddenly stopped working. I installed premium antivirus. Thinking would be from it, I turned off the antivirus and downloaded the lightshot app again. But lightshot does not come to the taskbar and does not work with the prnt key. In short, when I try to open the application, it does not respond.



Regarding the problem; First I deleted all the folders related to lightshot and skillbrain from the windows C: disk. Then I checked if there are any files left on %appdata% and deleted it. I searched the lightshot and skillbrains files through regedit and deleted them one by one. Then I downloaded the lightshot program again. And still same problem, no lightshot in taskbar and not working.



What would be the reason? Can you please help me?

göremeyince bunu sildim (lightshot programını) ve bir alt sürümü olan lightshot v5.5.0.4 sürümünü indirdim ve yine aynı sorun vardı: çalışmıyor ve görev çubuğunda göremiyorum. Bugün tekrar lightshot son sürümü olan v5.5.0.7 indirdim ve çalıştırmayı denedim aynı şekilde sorunum devam ediyor.

Şu anda windows update üzerinden 'güncelleştirmeleri denetle' bölümüne tıkladım. Herhangi bir windows güncellemesi görünmüyor. Yeniden başlatıp tekrar windows update yaptım ve güncelleştirme yok.

Yukarıdakini yapıp exit dedikten hemen sonra lightshot programını kaldırdım ve tekrar indirdim fakat hala görev yöneticisinde yok ve çalışmıyor

Ve son olarak dediğiniz gibi ayarlar>hesaplar>diğer kullanıcılar bölümüne gittim ve 'yeni hesap oluştur' kısmına tıklayarak yeni bir hesap oluşturdum. Daha sonra da bu hesabı yönetici yapıp oturumumu değiştirerek, yeni profile geçtim. Windows hoş geldiniz kurulum kısmını geçtim ve yeni masaüstünde lightshot programını indirip kurdum ve sonuç yine aynı. Programa tıklayınca hiçbir şey olmuyor ve görev çubuğunda yok.

The Snipping Tool works nicely. If one wishes, Is there a way to simplify the operation, to get it to work like Lightshot, for instance, to the extent that when you take the screesnshot, it will prompt you for where you want to save it (perhaps specifying beforehand a download folder), skipping those other steps before you get the option to "save"?
