Windows 10: Lightshot app.prntscr.com a screenshot tool directly upload failed, retry error/issue

Hello,I am using the Lightshot a screenshot software for the last 2 years. When I first found it I just install it and start using it. I didn't have to do anything/configure else about it. It working perfectly...But yesterday when I install the newest version 2022 of windows 10. After that, I found an issue. Now I can take a screenshot with it but it's not uploading the screenshot directly on their server! Setting Print Screen Hotkey to take screenshot using Lightshot

I understand your query related to setting up hotkeys in Lightshot application.



One of the things that you can try is to check the settings for the Print Screen button in Lightshot app.

1. Right click on the Lightshot application on the
   bottom right corner of the taskbar.
   
2. Now click on Options.
   
3. Under Options window, select the
   Hotkeys tab.
   
4. Check the box next to
   General Hotkey
   
5. Click on OK.

Once you change the settings you should be able to use the hotkey to take screenshots. However, if the issue persists, you may want to get in touch with the Lightshot support team for further assistance.

Windows 11 Disable Snipping Tool and switch to Lightshot

Hi all,

I don't like the new snipping tool much, because I'd better like to directly save my screenshots into a folder and not to copy on the clipboard. I tried using the Lightshot program (and also Greenshot), but none of them worked with the PrtScn button on my laptop. I turned off 'Press PrtScn to start snipping' feature in the Windows Settings (and after that restarted the laptop), but it didn't work. Lightshot (and Greenshot) sent me notifications about some other app is already using the button shortcut. I'd really like to take screenshots with that button.

What do you think, what could I do?

Couldn't upload. Tap to Retry

My photos are not syncing to my OneDrive app, I have a long list under Upload Error. I can individually upload them if I go into my OneDrive app, but this is time consuming. Not sure if it matters, but under the upload errors, it says SkyDrive, not OneDrive?


In settings I have it set to upload best quality when connected to WiFi -- I am on WiFi, quite often. When I tap to retry it always fails.

This is a new phone for me, I have it about a month. It was working fine for the first couple weeks.
