Windows 10: Lifecam vx-800 is recognized, but no video at all

Hi,

I would suggest you to uninstall the Lifecam vx-800 driver and restart the computer since it is a plug and play device, Once uninstalled it will reinstall the driver as fresh after restart.

I will copy and paste your suggestions and answer in below

• As you have written: "I tested in desktop PC and Sony Vaio laptop, but not working", does this refers to troubleshooting steps/ Webcam? (I just tried to use in desktop and laptop, found it is not working, I can not able to follow any of the troubleshooting
  steps, due to windows 10 not supporting the way said there.
• Have you tried to access the webcam with different computer and check if it works fine?
  ( I tried in both system which is windows 10 installed, not other OS)

can you explain why I cant able to see the driver download option


from MS download center from this link, only manual are showing there.

if I choose another webcam model the driver download option is showing, but in VX-800 it is not showing.

i have attached snapshot for HD-5000 also which shows the driver download option,



I have attached Device manager snapshot


For your info, I didn't install any driver till now, can you send me some driver download link

Sorry for the late response.

But as you may know the are no software for this device (LifeCam VX-800 ) it's self install so I can't
install the latest drivers for it from the webcam manufacturer website, because there is none you can check for your self.
