Windows 10: Lenovo LOQ 15 shows black screen after update

Hi. I have been using Lenovo LOQ 15 for about 4 months now, and experienced this issue for the first time recently. The laptop updated and shortly after the screen went black. The keyboard was working its lights were on and responded to the colour change by space bar. The logo would also appear upon restart. However, the screen would remain black afterwards. I restarted the system several times but it did not help, the window for "Recovery" would show and advanced options would appear, which required mobile verification which did not work. So I recently bought the Lenovo LOQ15. Amazing laptop but every time I start it, I get a black screen... Apperantly this is 'normal' for this laptop. But I don't think so... So I either restart the laptop by holding the power button, or I wait a few minutes and then it magically starts up. (I don't use the power button anymore, I just wait)

I went to the computer management to see what was the problem. It always shows a 'critical' point with error 41 Kernel-Power 'The system rebooted without first shutting down correctly. This error may have been caused by the system becoming unresponsive or crashing or by a power failure'. I can't find anything to fix this. When starting it up I don't do anything but wait, so it restarts itself?

I don't know if this is damaging to the laptop, but I don't think it's supposed the be a thing, especially for such an expensive laptop with high features...

I have tried with Norton, Driver Easy and on the Lenovo website to update all the drivers. Still didn't make a difference.

Secondly, this comes paired with an error 1001 BugCheck which says the following: 'The computer rebooted after a bug check. I have absolutly no idea what this is about.

Is this all a bug? Temporary? Unfixable? All help is welcome

• my lenovo ideapad P500, windows 8 shows a black screen after the message " automatic repairs..."what can i do to fix this. is it a hard disc problem?
