    Lenovo legion Y540 Keyboard not working after windows 11 recent update


    I have a lenovo legion Y540. I have been using windows 11 for the past 2 months, couple of days back system installed some new updates for windows 11 overnight post that laptop's inbuilt keyboard has stopped working but the keyboard is working in BIOS and external keyboard via USB is also working just fine.I already tried usual solutions to update drive which always say's that driver is updated . I tried troubleshooting which also did not find anything. I don't suspect any hardware issue because the keyboard works fine in BIOS. Any suggestions ??

    Touchpad is'nt working for Legion Y540-IRH. It doesn't appear at device manager as well

    There is no option to enable/disable the touchpad through BIOS in the Lenovo Legion y540.

    I'm using hotkeys fn+11 to turn on/off the touchpad, but it doesn't work. I have even tried to install Ubuntu as second OS and tried to go for fn+11 - there is visual feedback that touchpad is turning on and off, but in reality touchpad doesn't work.

    • Excluding Lenovo laptop, how do you switch keyboard between devices?
    • Is Windows 11 installed on Dell laptop as well?

    Lenovo Legion 5 15

    No suggestions but want to say nice laptop. They also seem to be popular being they're currently unavailable

    That said my only suggestion would be to take time to learn the laptop yourself.
