Windows 10: Latest windows update failed and said "somethng didn't go as planned... dont worry.... so...

This is the anser I ha lst time this happened.A repair installation using the ISO is needed.1 Download the Media Creation Tool MCT from here: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=21562952 Run MCT and download the Windows 11 ISO.3 Right-click the ISO and choose "Mount".4 Run setup.exe.5 Follow the on-screen instructions and complete the repair installation.Will this solution work now also?

Please check and follow the steps below:

1. Windows Update Troubleshooter

Windows 11

Please Click Start menu and type Troubleshoot

Hit Other troubleshooters

And select Windows Update

Finally, Run the troubleshooter

2. Reset Windows update services:

Please click start menu and type cmd, right click on it and choose run with admin

Kindly type the command lines below and hit enter:

net stop wuauserv

net stop cryptSvc

net stop bits

net stop msiserver

Ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old

Ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old

net start wuauserv

net start cryptSvc

net start bits

net start msiserver

Please try to run the Windows Update again.

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
