    Laptop works fine in safe mode, but keep restart or black out under normal mode


    This has been happening for 4-5 months. My laptop will go black or display BSOD unexpectedly. However, I recently tried using my laptop in safe mode, and it worked perfectly.I have already taken the following steps:1. repasted the thermal paste2. switch RAM3. cleaned the dust from cooling fan4. reset windowsThese steps haven't resolved the issue. Please advise for this scenario.

    Cannot Enter Safe Mode / Computer boots normally

    I'm running Win 10 Pro 1903.

    Here are the steps I have taken to get into safe mode: Start button, settings, update and security, recovery, advanced startup, troubleshoot, advanced options, startup settings, restart. The computer boots normally, not in safe mode. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thanks in advance for your help and interest. .

    Safe mode problems

    Perhaps some of the safe mode files are corrupted.

    Disable auto restart on BSOD and see what error you get?
