Windows 10: laptop showing "Weak Charging State, please check power charger" when it is not plugged in,...

my pc is being very wierd lately.heres what i have tried:- restarting pc 3-4 times- changing power charger- using another charging portPC infoevice name ------------------Processor 12th Gen IntelR CoreTM i5-1235U 1.30 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB 15.7 GB usable System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Pen and touch Pen and touch support with 10 touch points thanks for helping in advance!

Laptop charging icon shows charging even when my charger is not plugged in

Hi, thank you for your suggestion. I followed all the steps mentioned by you. The issue stopped temporarily. The issue started again today. The moment I switched the laptop on, the charging icon was showing that the laptop is charging even though the charger
was not plugged in. The charging light was also on. I had to plug in the charger and switch it on and off to stop this automatic charging.

Is there any other way to solve this issue? Also, is there a chance that there is bug in the latest update?

I am worried that my laptop battery will get spoiled.

Shut down Windows completely but leave it plugged in.

Does the charge light show? If not you have a faulty charger/laptop. As Windows is off it cannot be affecting the charging process.

If the light is on then leave it like that for 30 minutes (or more if possible). Start Windows and check the charge state. If it shows the same charge (approximately) or less then the charging is faulty even though the light is on. In that time with Windows
shut down the charger should have brought the battery state up, if long enough to 100%

 

Laptop charger plugged in but not charging! help! urgent!

Hi! First of all, I can't use my laptop if it's not plugged in and when I plug in the charger then the orange led flashes rather than staying at the same position(green when full charge) but it's not doing that anymore and keeps on flashing. The status of
the battery stays the same. Any idea then please help!
