Windows 10: Laptop randomly freezes when setting it up

Today I got a new laptop and was pretty excited to use it, but then it kept on freezing whenever I'd try to set it up. I would be selecting the network I wanted to use, and then after a few seconds, the whole screen would freeze and I'd have to start all over.I've tried reinstalling Windows both locally and with a network, I've tried wiping the entire laptop's files, I've tried everything I can, but nothing seems to work. Any idea how I can fix this or why it's happening in the first place?

I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin
