Windows 10: Laptop freezing and re-booting on it's own while playing games [Asus G14]

I have recently been noticing that anytime I start playing a game, it works fine for about 5-8 minutes and suddenly my screen goes blank and then starts flickering with this loud buzzing sound https://imgur.com/a/9uvKQxL. Otherwise, my laptop works perfectly fine. I'm not sure what the issue is since I'm not very tech savvy, but just a few days ago, my power socket got damaged, and the extension chord got melted, and at the time my laptop was connected to the adapter, so there's a possibility it might have gotten damaged in the process? The extension cord does seem to have a surge protector,

Asus G14 2022 freezes when gaming on external monitor

When gaming on the laptop without connecting to any external monitor, I get 0 problems and everything runs fine. But the moment I connect it to an external monitor, sometimes I get some slight freezes when watching multimedia content on fullscreen (youtube for example) or when gaming. When gaming it gets worse, sometime it freezes for 2 to 3 seconds, sometimes it completely freezes and I can't do anything besides rebooting manually with the power button. I don't even play the most recent games, it happens when playing League of Legends for example and the temperatures don't go higher than 75ºc or 80ºc in the most demanding ones.

Things I did:

- all kinds of scans (no problems found)

- I DDU and re-installed all the drivers from the ASUS website

- re-installed Windows 11

- used different monitors

- used different cables (HDMI and DP)

- uninstalled Armoury Crate and installed G-helper

- BIOS up to date

- put gpu mode to dgpu only

 

Can't play Hit It Rich game and system freezes

Thank you for your response.

I can understand how frustrating it would be. This issue might be due to corrupted profile or if the game is not installed completely. I suggest you to follow these steps and let us know if it works.

Could you please help me with the below questions:

• Are you aware of any changes happened on the computer prior to this issue?
  
• Have you tried playing this game on other browser (Google chrome or Mozilla) and check for the issue?
  

Step 1: Uninstall or Repair the game.

1. Press Windows and
   R key together on your Keyboard.
2. Type appwiz.cpl and hit enter.
   
3. Right click on the Hit it Rich app > Select Repair or uninstall it.
4. Reinstall the application and check for the issue.
   

Step 2: Create a new local account.

The reason might be due to user account corruption, so I would suggest you to ‘Create
a local user or administrator account’ and check if the issue persists.

Note: You will not see all your files under your default file location.
So your data will be saved under C:\Users\User_name.
