Windows 10: Laptop FAN turns off when Windows screen turns off, all while the system is NOT entering...

Dear reader, Could you tell me if Microsoft is aware of the issue described below and if there are plans for a solution? If so, when can we expect it? This problem has been ongoing for quite a while. In the past, when PCs and laptops were put to sleep, they entered the S3 sleep state, where all tasks are suspended to RAM and everything except the RAM is powered off. This is controlled by the "Put my device to sleep after X minutes" setting in Windows. Recently, PC manufacturers have shifted to the S0 low-power idle state, also known as Modern Standby, which is similar to the state smartphone

Screen turns black, system "hybernating"

Turned it on - after almost an entire day without touching it - and worked for 3 hours before the same screen black, system hibernating happened again.

Checked the temperature throughout and the cores registered at max 56 and 50.

Suggestions?

 

Laptop screen will not turn off

I don't know what is causing this but at random,when I lock the workstation the screen will not turn off(I even use the command line to make it turns off after 10 seconds) It works and then randomly it stops working In cmd "powercfg -requests" it doesn't show anything and when it does,I turn off everything that is on the list but the screen will still not turn off I can manually turn it off by using tools but it will not do that automatically It turns off when I put the laptop in sleep mode or shut it down but not when I just lock it Edition Windows 10 Home Version 21H1 Installed on ‎17/‎04/‎2021 OS build 19043.1165 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3530.0

 

Laptop enters Modern Standby when screen turns off

I recently received my new Windows 11 laptop. I set the system to never go to sleep in the settings and in the power plan. However, when the screen turns off after screen time-out it also goes into Modern Standby. This causes my laptop fans to stop running causing the system to get hot occasionally when I'm still running programs.

I checked the Event Viewer, confirming my suspicions:

Event 506: The system is entering Modern Standby

Is there any way to prevent this? I checked several forums and did find people with similar issues but no real solution. I did try the Microsoft PowerToys Awake tool but the system still entered Modern Standby even with Awake enabled.
