    Hi,my colleague at work is doing pranks on my computer from time to time. Now he changed display language. That alone wouldn't really be difficult, as the display language can simply be changed back in the settings, but this time, he went a little too far. Somehow, he managed to make the language options in settings disappear entirely.If I click on Time & Language in the settings menu, I only seeLanguage options gone :Date & timeRegionSpeechI was unable to upload screenshotEven if I type "language" into searchbox, and select the very first option "language settings", it directs me back to main settings pa

    Language bar gone Language options gone :(


    Use Cortana in Windows 10 and search for Add a language and it should be at the top of the list.

    Typing language problem

    Why is Use language list only showing UK, and not US as another option in view of the steps I have taken to install it and put it at the top of my list? What is the' language bar', referred to? I don't think I have ever seen it, or am not recognising it if I had. And why is Keyboard shown as English UK when Settings is opened?

    There are few languages that Windows 10 has pre-installed in the system itself. We suggest that you check these languages and locate the language that you want to install. Follow these steps below to locate the language:



    • Click on the Start Menu, locate and select Settings.
    • Click on Time and Language.
    • Locate and select Region and Language.
    • Click on Add a Language.
