Trouble with Kyocera Mita FS-100+ printer

I was unable to use my printer following upgrading to Windows 10 as it spewed loads and loads of paper out as there were no drivers currently available and Kyocera weren't going to develop any when I spoke to them. In my frustration I deleted my printer
from devices and printers. I have subsequently found that Microsoft appear to have developed drivers for my Kyocera Mita fs-100+.
However, I am unable to add this printer to my computer in devices and printers. I have unplugged the printer and USB in the back of my PC, and plugged it back in, but it doesn’t appear in device manager. Is there any way of getting the printer back?
I have run “add printer” and it doesn’t come up. If I go into downloads the printer is listed as Kyocera Universal_Classic_PCL_1.18.Zip. I do have a Kyocera Mita Digital Library cd.
Any help would be appreciated as I know nothing about printers whatsoever as you have probably gathered. Thank you!!

 

Kyocera FS-3140MFP+ unable to scan to computer since Windows 10 install

I have a Kyocera FS-3140MFP+ and since I installed Windows 10 I am unable to scan from it to my computer.

I can print and fax just fine.

We have already installed the new driver that is for Windows 10.

I have been trying to figure this out and haven't had any luck.

Thanks Mohammed for your response. I have tried what you have suggested and looked in fixing printer problems. I have just loaded new drivers through driver toolkit and I have gone into device and printers and my kyocera is listed but when I go into device
manager it is not listed. Driver Toolkit suggested the following instructions but of course I cannot follow them because the device is not in Device Manager. Can you please help me. I am not computer lit at all so I do need all the help I can get. Many

First of all, you need download the latest drivers file.

If it is a executive file, you can install it by simply double clicking the file.

If it is a zip file and you can not find a installer in the archive, you can install the driver by following instruments below:

1. Go to Control Panel and open Device Manager.

2. Find the device that your are trying to install a driver

3. Right click the device and select properties.

4. Select Driver tab, then click the Update Driver button.

5. Choose Browse my computer for driver software.

6. Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer

7. Browse for the .inf driver file. Open and Next.

8. The driver will be installed.
