    Kingston SSD wrong driver issue

I bought a new Kingston 240GB A400 ssd but I already have a Kingston 120GB A400 sdd. So when I installed new ssd windows10 detected new ssd as 120GB Kingston A400 but it's 240gb not 120gb. After that I was able to use the entire 240gb. but today my 240gb ssd got disconnected 2 times in 30 minutes and i get 2 blue screens because i installed virtual ram on new ssd. i solve the blue screen issue for now but what i need to fix is detect my new 240gb ssd as 240gb ssd i think thats the problem.

    :)

SSD samsung evo and amd drivers

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

The issue could be because of the AMD drivers installed on the computer.

Since the Samsung SSD is working fine with the Microsoft AHCI driver, I suggest you to update the AMD driver and check if that helps. To update the AMD drivers follow the steps from the article

    Update drivers in Windows 10
    .

If updating the drivers didn’t help, I suggest you to roll back the driver to previous build and check if that helps. To roll back the driver to previous build follow the steps mentioned below:

    1. Press and hold the Windows + X key on the keyboard.
    2. Select Device manager.
    3. In Device manager, expand IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers.
    4. Right click on AMD SATA Controller and select
      Properties.
    5. Navigate to the Driver tab and click on Roll Back Driver.
    6. Restart the computer.

    Hope it helps.

No Kingston HyperX Fury 240 GB SSD driver for Windows 10 Enterprise

Just installed a brand new Kingston HyperX Fury 240 GB SSD disk, and started a clean Windows 10 Enterprise installation.

Started well, but right at the begining W10 are asking for drivers for the SSD disk. Looked for them from the other PC on Kingston official web, But they don't have them, at the moment.

What now? Am I to early with all this? Is there an alternative, now?

    W7 recognized everything there is.

Ok, I know W10 are a brand new. but....

Will appreciate any assistance as soon as possible please.

    Best regards

    Kingston SSDs Dies

    Windows 10 Pro / 1809 / Build 17763.1282

I bought two Kingston SSDs on Windows 10 Pro. Five months after, one (laptop) just died, will not boot. I was asked by BestBuy to take to the Geek Squad, who said it is broken I should call Kingston for a replacement. I called Kingston and was told I would have to pay for shipping to get it replaced. Seriously, still on warranty?

Two days ago, the second SSD (desktop), seem to be slowly delaying commands then, the blue screen. Will not boot. When I connected both SSDs to ma working PC, I get these (please see attached images).

Both disk are the OS disks. The utilities say they are empty (0.00kb). How can. Could someone please give me some education on what went on here?

With HHDs, the disk can still be accessed and retrieve some data. I have some bookmarks I would like to retrieve. With the dead disks connected, I booted with some LiveCDs to retrieve data, but could not even see the disk.

    1. Is it logical for the consumer to pay for shipping or maybe I did not read the fine printS.
    2. Kingston is a reputable data storage company, why would I lose two SSDs?
    3. With the drive inaccessible and at 0.00kb, is there any software or method to recover any data

Thank you all and please keep safe enough
