Windows 10: Keyboard works fine on other computer but not on my Desktop

I have a Corsair Gaming K95 RGB Platinum keyboard running on Window 10.The keyboard has worked on my desktop for many years with no issues, however today when turning on my computer im finding certain keys are not working. I had spent a lot of time troubleshooting assuming it was an issue with the keyboard until I tried plugging it into my laptop, where it worked completely fine.To make matters worse only certain sections of my keyboard arent working, essentially only the letters and numbers are working. The entire bottom row apart from space do nothing, and anything right of the enter key doe

As you are facing issues with accessing the keyboard on your device after the latest update, do not worry we will help you with this issue.

Do let us know the following to assist you better with this issue:

• What is the make and model of your device?
• Are you referring to the external keyboard on your device?
• Which was the latest update installed on your device?

Follow the below to know the latest update installed on your device:

Press Windows key, type Windows update
and select Windows Update Settings. Click on
Advanced options, click on View your update history.

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted/ outdated drivers after the update on your device. Let us try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

If you are referring to the external keyboard, try to connect the keyboard to different computer and check if it is working fine.

Try to connect the external keyboard to different ports on the computer and check if it is working. This will let us know if the is with ports on your computer.

If the issue still persists,

I suggest you to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter
as it checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.

• Press Windows key from the keyboard, type
  Troubleshooting and select it.
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
  Troubleshooting window.
• Select the Hardware and Device
  options from the list.
• Click Next to run the
  Hardware and Device Troubleshooter.

keyboard works in BIOS but not on desktop

Please answer these question to assist you better.

1. What is the make and model of your computer and keyboard?

2. Do you get any error message?

3. Have you tried connecting a different keyboard and check?

I suggest you to use a different keyboard and check if you are able to use with your computer. If you are using desktop you can also try connecting keyboard to a different USB and check.

If the above suggestion doesn’t help. Follow Methods below.

Method 1: Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter

Follow these steps to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter:

1. Press Windows key + X key and select Control Panel.

2. Type troubleshooting in search box and Select Troubleshooting.

3. Select View all on the top left corner.

4. Click Hardware and Devices.

5. Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.

If issue persists follow next Method.

Method 2: Uninstall and reinstall the driver

I suggest you to try uninstall the keyboard drivers check if it works for you.

Follow the steps to uninstall the keyboard drivers:

1. Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.

2. Right-click on the keyboard device listed and click on
‘Uninstall’.

3. Restart the computer after its uninstalled.

Note: Install latest drivers from manufacturer website.

Follow the steps below to open On-screen Keyboard.

Step 2: Run Hardware and device Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your devices. Refer these steps:
