Windows 10: Keyboard layout issue in Remote Desktop

When i use mstsc on my local "Windows 10 20H2 build 19042.1645" to connect to "Windows server 2019 build 17763.2746" then after disconnecting my local keyboard layout get sometimes messed up i didnt figure out root cause of this.On BOTH machines i have exactly same langunage settings:- "Czech" language with "Czech QWERTY" keyboard - "English United States" language with "US" keyboard < defaultbut when i click on local pc on language bar in tray it shows those:- CES Czech \n Czech QWERTY keyboard- ENG \n US English United States \n US Keyboard- ENG

Keyboard layout issue in Remote Desktop

I use W10 Remote Desktop to connect to a Windows 7 Professional (SP1) external computer.

Before that I used W7, Dutch language, American international keyboard and never had problems with these keyboard settings on my external computer (with the same language and keyboard settings).

The use of W10 with the same settings as the old W7 did not work. A lot of special characters did not meet the layout of the keyboard. It appears that the Dutch keyboard layout overrides the American international layout while typing in the external desk top.

I found the solution in a question on this site from 2017 and it seems that Microsoft has still not solved the problem: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...pp-store/98daedc2-497b-4386-93b0-6aafbee2d844

So please solve this. It took me two days and a lot of anger before I finally found out that this wasn't my fault.

Keyboard layout Remote Desktop app (store)

The problem occurs when the remote desktop is used the keyboard layout is switched. I use the "remote desktop" app from the store on a pc that runs window 10 home and the remote desktop runs MS Server 2012
R2 (Windows 8)

the following keys are switched, the ; / - [ ] ` = and ' keys

keyboard settings: W10 US Int S2012R2 US Int

I hope it's as app setting but I couldn’t find it.

First I thought it was because I used the United States Dvorak international keyboard layout (Custom) but the same problem still course when I switch to a US International key board (Physical and settings)
on the Windows 10 home pc running de Remote desktop app from the Store.
