Windows 10: Keep getting a notification that I need to sign into a work or school account. However, I...

Every time I boot up my computer as well as randomly throughout the day, I receive this message telling me to sign into my work or school account. The issue is that this is an old school account that my access was totally shut down to. After I graduated, access to it was shut down, meaning I can't log in. Is there any way I can just delete this email or no longer receive this notification? I can see the email in the "Accounts used by other apps" part of the "Email & Accounts" section. But when I click to manage it, it wants me to log in--something I can't do.

Notification about work or school account whenever I start windows

Recently I have been getting the following notification whenever I log in to windows 10:

However, when I go there (or search for solutions online) I tend to end up with a step where I need to log into the specific account.

However, it is not my account but of someone who used my laptop recently, and who I don't want to bother with this.

I have full rights to my laptop, and am looking for a way to get rid of the notification.

Remove Deactivated Work Or School Email Account

I have an organizational email account that has been deactivated, current guides online say the following:

"If you need to remove an account from your PC:

1. Select Start > Settings > Accounts > Access work or school .
   
2. Select the account you wish to remove, then select Disconnect
   
   ...."
   

However, the only option presented at this section is "Manage" which forwards me to my organization's page to login. The account has since been deactivated with no way to get to the next step.
I have been getting notifications from my system that "There is a problem with a work or school account click her to fix now" but obviously can't login to remove the account from the system.
Is there a work around to remove the account without logging in?
